An interesting juxtaposition, "futuristic" and "horror". It's not easily done. Most films that take on this mantle are heavily dependent on gore and surprise to keep said audiences in suspense. There are a few notable exceptions that emphasize the supernatural however. Most have themes meant to draw the viewer/protagonist out of the safety of a "technological" or stable world and into terrors that can only be realized in other realms.
